Learn how to make this very important section of the application work hard for you!

How Early Research Can Power Your College Essays

Learn creative strategies to find unique facts about each college so you can draw connections that are meaningful to you! This will not only power your list but will fuel your supplemental essays big time during the crunch period. Where can you find these unique facts? How should you write about them? Amy has seen how valuable research is to fueling great writing. INCLUDES – customizable spreadsheet organizer to collect info.

Persuasive & Creative Writing

Two-part course that teaches persuasive & creative writing tactics, challenging students to identify & flex their writing muscles. Not only immensely helpful in the college application process, but helps in college, job searches, and life! Includes short writing exercises, analysis of writing samples, and lots more!

Ideal for 9th-10th graders

Junior Year Boost

I’ve received lots of requests for a group/boot camp-style program, and am finalizing the curriculum now. If you want to learn in a group setting, we’ll tackle a different subject each month – Research, Activity List, Main Essay, Supplements, etc. Likely meeting Sundays at 6 pm starting in February or March. Details/pricing TBD.
